Craigslist plus eBay equals Easy Fast Cash
Posted by michael on June 30th, 2008What happens when you mix eBay and Craigslist?
You have the best two ingredients to make money online without having to sell, pack or ship a single thing
As you will know, there are 100’s of ‘how-to’ products available that will show you various ways to make money on eBay. They’ll tell you what to sell, how to sell it, the hidden profits in shipping costs etc etc but what do all of these ‘how-to’ products have in common?
They’re all telling you to walk the same, very busy, path that is being walked by 10,000’s of other eBay sellers who are all as eager as you to make money on eBay.
It’s time to think outside of the box and cross the road to the other side where it’s not crowded, where there’s not 10,000’s of people all trying to do the same thing as you. In fact, this ‘other path’ is quite a relaxed place. No one over here is fighting for sales, quite the opposite. You see, this ‘other path’ is a chilled out place where people are taking easy, rich, pickings at their leisure.
Mmmm, think about that for a moment….
OK, now you can imagine what it feels like, do you want to cross over to the ‘other path’ and see what these other people are doing to make their money on eBay? Cool, let’s cross over then….
…And welcome to the hidden goldmine of the eBay affiliate program that is still so untapped that it beggars belief. To this day I still cannot work out why so many people fight for sales, waste $100’s listing items that won’t sell and then pay fees on everything that they do sell.
eBay has a very large cake, with a cherry on it, and they are eating that nice big fat cake with smiles on their faces. So how does this affect you and what happened to this ‘other side’ of things?
OK, eBay, as you know, make lots and lots of lovely cash - they are rolling in it and when companies have lots of money they tend to reinvest it back in to their business. In the case of eBay, one of these ways of reinvesting is to pay affiliates a commission for advertising the things that are being sold on eBay. And this is where, right now, there are a relatively small number of people who are promoting eBay as affiliates which is good news for you
But why is this such good news for you (and me)?
Simple, the fewer the number of people doing something means that there is more room to move about without the fear of standing on each others toes. Now, there is a question asked my many people who I talk to about the eBay affiliate program and that is “How and where do I promote this and how hard is it”?
The good news is that it isn’t hard to promote eBay via their affiliate program because of the tools that are available to use -either from eBay directly or from third parties. However, there are some tools that are more powerful than others and are less well known.
The reason some tools are less well known than some others is because they work so well, it is best if not every man and his dog has access to them. There’s a saying, “A technique known is a technique blown!.
If everyone does the same thing at the same time a pattern or trend appears and sometimes that not such a good thing.
“So where does eBay and Craigslist enter into the equation then”?
OK, this is where I was telling you that some things shouldn’t be shared with the masses….
Well, as you know, eBay is a place where people sell things and Craiglsist is a place where people can post wanted ads (they are looking to buy things) - we, as eBay affiliates, simply stand in the middle and bring the buyer to the seller
After all, that is what affiliate marketing is all about isn’t it…
Now there are two ways of doing this;
1) You can browse the wanted ads on Craigslist looking for the things people are wanting to buy and then manually go and search eBay for that item and then create your affiliate link and then go email the potential buyer to let them know the item they are looking to buy is available on ebay
OR
2) You can save 95% of that time it would take doing it that way and use an automated software program that does all the ‘hard work’ for you. All you need to do is browse the wanted ads, click a button to automatically find that item on eBay for you and then click another button to have an email sent to the potential buyer with your affiliate link already inserted in to that email.
Now I’ll level with you here - option 1 really isn’t really viable as it does take far too long to make it profitable.
With option 2 however, well, I think you get the idea of how fast and easy that option is but let me show you exactly how easy and fast option 2 is. And I’ll also show you the exact software that does this for you.
Welcome to the world of the elite, six figure income, eBay affiliates…..
