And I know that sounds like hype but there is no other way describe it. It really is the smartest affiliate software on the planet, hands down.

So what on earth would make me say this? Ok, let me tell you very briefly. In early November of this year, Adrian Ling approached me and asked me to lend a hand with the sales copy for his upcoming new software. Now I have purchased all of Adrian’s other products (yes purchased) so I had a lot of respect for him. In fact, I felt very humble that he asked me to help him with the sales copy. But hey, I wanted to know more about his new product so I agreed.

As I was writing the sales copy for Adrian, he hadn’t yet finished the new product but as he told me of each feature of it my mind raced with with possibilities and potential of this software. When Adrian told me he was calling this “the smart affiliate software” I could easily see why and 100% agreed with him.

To be honest, this was the most excited I had ever been about writing sales copy. The original sales copy was really, really, very long simply because I could have talked to you all day about this software due to the benefits and amazing benefits it gives you.

The funny thing is, I got to a part of the sale copy where the product is compared to a competitors product and this is where I just stopped dead in my tracks and that is when it dawned on me….

There simply was absolutely no other product available that could even come any where close to what this new product was going to do. It’s only then when you realise just how good something is, even though at that point the product wasn’t even finished.

Seriously, think about this for a moment…………..

You are an affiliate marketer and you are using AdWords to promote someone else’s product. The time is 3 am and you are tucked up in your bed fast asleep dreaming sweet things.

What you are totally unaware of is that while you are in slumber land, you are losing $100’s on wasted AdWords traffic. Wait, that isn’t the worst part of it.

The worst part is, none of it is your fault. Without warning, in the blink of an eye, due to an unforeseen technical problem, the product owners website has gone off line. Your AdWords campaign is still working just fine, exactly how you planned it to. Visitors are flooding to the website you are promoting, each one costing you more and more of your AdWords budget but it’s all wasted because when the visitor arrives the find the site is unavailable.

Can you guess what happens next?

Every single one of those visitors, all of which have cost you money, simply click away from the dead site and are never to be seen again. But hey, the website owner isn’t bothered. Yeah, he just lost some potential sales but YOU just lost some potential commissions AND you lost an untold amount of AdWords budget in to the bargain.

Does this sound at all fair? No, of course not but what could you have done, you were asleep at the time remember. But, ask yourself this, seriously, even if you had been awake at the time, what could you have done about it? Would you have even known in time?

Well actually the realistic answer is, you probably wouldn’t have known about it in time and there was nothing you could have done apart from pause your AdWords campaign.

So, ok, we’ve looked at the real life, not too rosy, picture of what does happen to affiliate marketers but let’s run add something to the equation shall we. Let’s add Affiliate Shield……

If you had been using Affiliate Shield when all of this kicked off you wouldn’t have lost a single cent of your AdWords budget and you would still have made affiliate commissions. How?

Well that’s easy, because the very second that the website went off line, Affiliate Shield would have detected this for you, automatically and without any intervention from you and it would have switched to an alternative products website which you are promoting as an affiliate!!!

Yeah I am being serious. Affiliate Shield would have automatically redirected all of your visitors to an alternative website of a product that you are promoting. It could actually send them to any website you chose, including your own!!!

Think about that for a second, think of the money saved here. If you had sent 100 visitors to the dead site and each visitor had cost you 50cents then you would have lost $50 in PPC costs. Of those 100 visitors, lets say 4 of them had made a purchase which would have given you $25 commission from each sale, that’s $100 in lost commissions and $50 in wasted PPC costs. $150 down the toilet.

Yet, by simply using Affiliate Shield, you could have prevented this from happening and avoided the entire problem. Well, let me tell you, if the above situation had just happened to you and you WAS using Affiliate Shield, then Affiliate Shield would have just paid for itself THREE times over!!!

Although the above situation is an example, trust me, it does happen and a lot more often than you think too. For the simple sake of using Affiliate Shield, you can avoid this altogether.

I could continue to rave about Affiliate Shield (as you may have noticed, I am a massive fan of the program) but I’ll leave this here for now and probably add another post later today about the other features of Affiliate Shield so stay tuned.

Best Wishes
